2023 - Hundred children free of charge to the theater
Loulou & Lou, the Samen Lachen Foundation, Quiet Eindhoven, Food Bank Eindhoven and Parktheater Eindhoven are joining forces. In November 2023, all families dependent on the Eindhoven Food Bank received an invitation in their food package. This allowed them to register for free to our theatre show on December 2nd (or) 3rd in the Parktheater, through Samen Lachen. More than a hundred parents with their children registered in this way, and in many cases experienced a music theater show for the first time.

2022 - Album for Ronald McDonald Huis in Maastricht
Unfortunately, two creative owners of Loulou & Lou had to stay at the Ronald McDonald House for a while. However, during this time we did realize what a wonderful environment this is for parents and their children. And perhaps even more importantly… what the power of music can do in such a heavy time. That’s why we created an album especially for the children in the hospital and their parents. You can find the album in every room in the Ronald McDonald House in Maastricht.

‘Loulou & Lou around the world’ combines regional music from the Netherlands with world music from all over the world. Our goal was to transform diversity and culture into children’s music. In collaboration with Cultuur Innovation Fonds Limburg we chose three international regions as a starting point, those of which many refugee children and children of non-Dutch origin find their roots.

2020 - Braille book Lux & Louise
In collaboration with Laura Steinbusch, we created a multilingual songbook (Dutch, English, French and German) for blind and visually impaired children. This book challenges children to learn their languages at an early age and to explore independently. In the Lux & Louise braille book they can literally feel songs. The book has been made ‘inclusive’ by printing everything in braille and ink to make the illustrations visual and tactile.

Music stimulates the development of the brain in an astonishing number of areas. From motor skills to dyslexia. Not only the ‘standard’ children’s music, but also other genres such as classical music. We therefore made it accessible to the smallest ears, by performing well-known kids hits and great classics by the artist Maestro Mozy.
